For the past ten years, we have taught home management classes based on Proverbs 31 to women across the country. When we were younger moms, we struggled with managing our households and ended up feeling desperate and inadequate. Can you relate? We began to read and research organizing and cleaning principles and soon discovered that God's Word has the answers and tools we needed to manage all areas of our life--even housework and finances! As we shared with other ladies what we were learning, we quickly discovered we weren't the only ones struggling to maintain a healthy balance; women in any age and stage of life can feel overwhelmed by routine household chores and are hungry for helpful tips.
Christian women can't be a delightful fragrance to others if we are always living in desperation (see 2 Cor. 2:14-16). Our heartbeat for this ministry is to help ladies gain control over some of the stressful areas at home so they can truly find delight in the real life God has given them. Only then will we be free to make an eternal impact on those God has placed around us.

My husband Greg and I have two brilliant but busy teenagers. After 21 years of marriage, we're beginning to look forward to the fast approaching "empty nest" years. Greg pastors First Baptist Church, Cabot, Arkansas, where I serve in women's ministry and Genesis L.A.B., our children's church program. I enjoy cold Coca-Cola, reading good fiction, writing magazine articles, and organizing closets while listening to my iPod.

Rex and I have three boys, so everything in our house is either broken or dirty! We're a homeschooling family and I'm currently organizing our association's curriculum fair to be held in June. I enjoy cooking, playing outdoors with my boys, camping, and sewing. We've been married 14 years. By the way, Janet's husband Greg is my brother.
